Markos & Co. was established in Bangalore in 1993, when our Founder Partner, Markos Vellapally, recognised the growing need for a full-service law firm to support Indian businesses and multinational corporations establishing operations in the city during its emergence as a global technology hub.
What began as a boutique practice focusing on Corporate and Commercial Law has evolved into a full-service law firm offering comprehensive legal services in the areas of Civil and Commercial Law. The Firm comprises four Working Partners (in addition to our Founder Partner, Markos Vellapally, who continues to serve in an advisory role), each bringing specialised expertise in their respective practice areas.
To provide seamless support beyond Bangalore, the Firm maintains longstanding professional relationships with experienced lawyers and law firms across India, enabling us to assist clients with legal matters across multiple jurisdictions while maintaining a single point of contact.
